Nature Play

We are very fortunate to be located in an area of natural beauty. A few minutes walk and a world of imagination and freedom lies before us. The children explore the rich, natural environment, make dens, nature art, forage for materials for our sensory bowls and whilst learning to appreciate and respect the living world around them.

Our science, maths, art and language work is consolidated through practical investigations with natural objects and by the children's interactions with, and experiences of their sensory world.
